Tait-Mere disappointment

Once I saw Team India winning the toss and elected to bat at WACA,I was eagerly waiting how the express pace duo Lee-Tait is going to perform.Lee lived to my expectations although he was expensive in his first spell,but got his bunny Jaffer for the fifth time in the series.The battle between the little master and lee would have definitely kept every cricket lover in nerves,Tait disappointed everyone in the pitch where everyone was expecting him to perform.He had a fantastic World Cup last year and a fairly good series against Kiwis,but his comeback in the longer version of the game was a mere disappointment for me.At one moment he made me feel that even if Bracken was included in the playing eleven,he would have delivered his best.With his current form I cannot expect him to perform at his home ground in the next test.

Chak De "Force" India

India have been deprived of hosting a F1 race for a very long time,but that’s going to come to an end shortly thanks to Vijay Mallya and his efforts.India will be hosting its first F-1 grandprix in 2010 and the Force India Formula One team comprises of former Renault driver Giancarlo Fisichella along with Adrian Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi.I need not tell much about Fisichella as he had a good season with Renault particularly when he was with his teammate Alonso in 2006 where he finished fourth in the drivers standings.Liuzzi has been named the reserve driver and Fisichella along with Sutil will be driving for Force India Formula One team.Though Narain Karthikeyan failed to live upto the expectation in the 2005 season for Jacquar,let us hope that Force India team will bring us back the glory in the 2008 season.All the best for Force India!

SCG Drama

First time a drama has taken place in SCG and it would never be remembered for the aussies victory.This is the second time in the world of cricket an umpire has been replaced by ICC after a complaint from the visiting team.It has been really a testing time for Team India and the management,but Kumble has remained coolhead thro out the drama which needs to be appreciated.It would have been a different scenario when Dada captaining the side.The umpiring errors had spoiled the final day and lot of decisions favouring against the Indians.The Wall fighting hard was at the receiving end of a caught behind decision of Bucknor and the next one was Ganguly caught at slip by Clarke.The decision should have been definitely referred to 3rd umpire by Benson without any second thought but instead it was referred to Ponting which have given to a lot of controversy.

The Indians would ague that Symonds catch would have sealed them a win but at the same time there are decisions that went in favour of India.when Sachin on 36 was ruled not out by Benson,the replays suggested that it was a clean leg before to Clarke.The same happened to Laxman on 16 was trapped in front to Lee,so both the team have to focus on the rest of the tour.One thing is for sure if aussies continue to play the game like they played in SCG they will confront a lot of problems in the future

Superstar back with "ROBO"

The movie "Robo" featuring Rajini in the lead has been officially announced today directed by the 'man with the midas touch' Shankar produced by the giant Ayngaran International and Eros Multimedia.The movie is definitely going to be a visual treat for everyone as the name "Robo" says it all.Shankar will be again joining hands with A.R Rahman for the 9th time and the crew for the movie will be officially annonced soon.I need not tell the market value of Super Star and he is once again going to give a run for money to other stars in the Kollywood.Currently Superstar fanatics are eagerly waiting for the animated movie "Sultan-The Warrior" which is going to be released this summer.

RDX-Real Disgusting Xperience

Hi everyone….I am back to blogsphere.I was lucky enough to get billa ticket through one of my friends within less than a week of its release.Chennai is receiving unexpected showers during this marghazi(tamil month) which may have dampened the spirits of music lovers,but not movie buffs due to Ajith’s comeback movie Billa.There was a lot of hype for it and once again ajith proved everyone that he is the King of Opening.My show was at 7pm and as far as sathyam is concerned the movie is screened with RDX(Real Digital Xperience) and everyone in my show including me felt we are having a Real Disgusting Xperience.I was seated in Q row and I could hardly hear what prabhu was speaking.Imagine the people who were seated at the back.Even the sabhas in my area have a better acoustics than Sathyam.The sound for the background score and songs were good and when it comes to dialogues it sucked big time.I had a horrible time in understanding the dialogues for more than 15 minutes by just observing the lip movement that too in one of the renowned multiplex in Chennai.
Although people were shouting asking to increase the sound, there was hardly any response.Those who were seated the back started to stand in their seats asking for a refund,To everyone’s surprise the the lights were switched on and the screening was stopped when Santhanam was speaking to Ajith after the “seval kodi” song.It was resumed after some ten minutes and they din not bother to resume at the right place.But again the same old defect continued for some ten minutes and it gradually improved.Though the movie was technically good,the place wasn’t.If incidences like this continue in the near future,Sathyam cinemas is sure to lose the movie-buffs to INOX.
