"Change" is inevitable

The bus commuters in our singara Chennai have a reason to smile that the bus fares have not undergone any changes over the past 4-5 years even though the fuel prices have gone up by nearly Rs12-Rs13.When a commuter gets into a yellow board bus he has to tender exact change for getting the ticket. On most occasions the conductors do not give any balance in purchase of tickets with 50p denominations (ie) 2.50,3.50,4.50 and so on.We do not have any mechanism of checking whether they have change or not. There are many options for the MTC authorities to resolve this in a easier manner. Before the conductor boards the bus for the first time in a day he should be handed over with 25/50 paise coins to the tune of Rs 50 which may reduce the problem to some extent.RBI should also take some efforts to increase the circulations of these coins instead of coming out with new Rs 2 or Rs5 coins.

No Chartbusters

There have been many audio releases in this month as many films like Sathyam,Kuselan,Sakkarikatti and Saroja are due for release in August.the FM stations are playing the songs of these movies atleast twice every day and none of these have lived upto the expectation..Of the four films mentioned “Sathyam” has been so worst and none of the numbers are worth listening. For the first time in Tamil film industry,a complete English song was sung in the movie “Saroja” and Yuvan’s efforts would be applauded depending on the success of the movie. The tracks of “Sakkaraikatti” has been a let down for Rahman fans as the tunes are much familiar to his previous movies. We have to wait and see how there movies are going to fare in the box office in August.

The Malayalam rock band “Avial”(a south Indian recipe meaning mixture) has created a revolution in Indian Rock. There are many rock bands in India in the recent past and there is a stiff competition existing between them to lure the music lovers not alone in India but also in other parts of the world. Malayalam is the hardest language to transform to rockish and the songs have come out so well.Language is not a barrier for good music, but if you know the mallu tradition you enjoy the whole experience at a much higher level. There are totally 8 songs in the album and the notable tracks are “Nada Nada” and “Njan Aara” which makes us feel that the Malayaleese are on on top when it comes to music in India. In my opinion I don’t dare to compare any other Indian rock band at their level.Click here to download the torrent file
